CEEC met with the Polish Business Delegation

CEEC, represented by Vice Chairwoman, Ms. Magdalena Krakowiak, Executive Director, Ms. Monika Jurzak and Executive Committee Members, Ms. Kadri Lahi and Ms. Nora Bihari, met with the Polish Business Delegation on 21st November 2019. The Delegation was accompanied by representatives of the Lower Silesian Agency of Economic Cooperation – Vice-President and Expert Pro-Biz, The Wroclaw University of Technology and some businesses.

Firstly, CEEC Vice Chairwoman introduced all Board Members and gave a brief intro of CEEC. Following that the Delegation was asked to introduce themselves. Afterwards, Ms. Krakowiak gave the presentation which included the geopolitical and economic environment, socio-cultural and technological landscape and benefits of EVFTA after it comes into force.

After that, Ms. Kadri Lahi, shared the legal aspects of market entry and gave a suggestions on what kind of organizational structures to operate in Vietnam would be the best option for the visiting Polish businesses.

At the end, Ms. Nora Bihari from the South-East Asia IPR SME Helpdesk introduced the project, gave a general overview, indicating how important for European SMEs it is to know that their brand needs to be register in South-East Asia even if it is registered in Europe already.
