The Advisory Committee of the Central and Eastern European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (CEEC) is composed of up to twenty four (24) members from CEE countries Trade Counsellors present in Vietnam, Honorary Counsellors of CEE countries in Vietnam and representatives of CEE countries-related friendship associations. The main role is to make recommendation on the operations and orientations of CEEC. The Advisory Committee meets at least once annually. The chairperson chairs the Advisory Committee Meeting and acts on behalf of the CEEC’s Advisory Committee. The body works independently from the Executive Committee of the Chamber.
The First Advisory Committee Meeting took place on October 20, 2015 at 5pm. It was organized in EuroCham Vietnam premises via video-link between Hanoi and HCMC. Mr. Mariusz Boguszewski, Economic Counsellor of Embassy of Poland, was the first elected chairperson of the CEEC Advisory Committee. After 2 years of Mariusz support to CEEC , the leading of The Advisory Committee was taken over by Mrs. Ivana Belcáková, Deputy Head of Mission | Economic Counsellor.
Currently, CEEC Advisory Committee is made up of the Trade Counsellors from the following CEE Embassies: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia plus Estonia represented by the Honorary Consul.
