Over the recent years several mega infrastructure projects kicked off allowing north Vietnam to open up to rest of the world. Several of these developments were already inaugurated while the rest will come on stream in the near future. These implementation have caused already a shock wave in attracting foreign direct investment. Since 2012 the North managed to attract more than 4.000 projects with the likes of Bridgestone, GE, Samsung, LG, Knauf,… amounting to more than USD 60 billion.
