On 5 September, EuroCham Vietnam delegation (with two CEEC Board members representatives: Mr. Christoph Schill – CEEC Vice Chairman and Mr. Gellerth Horvath – CEEC Board Member and Eurocham Vice Chairman) successfully kicked-off Brussels mission with a discussion on EVFTA. The first meeting was with the key sharpers of the treaty within DG Trade: Peter Berz and Frauke Sommer.
On that day, the Delegation was also received by Vice President of European Parliament Boguslaw Liberadzki and presented on the EVFTA to the INTA Committee.
On 6 September, EuroCham delegation met with EU Commissioner Cecilia Malmström, who is in charge of trade agenda, negotiating bilateral trade agreements with key countries and working with developing countries, foreign direct investment policy and international trade forums. They also met with EU Commissioner Günther Oettinger responsible for negotiating and managing the EU budget.
