VIETNAM-SLOVAKIA BUSINESS FORUM – MoU SIGNING FOR THE COOPERATION BETWEEN DEPARTMENT FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF PROVINCES, THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF VIETNAM AND CEEC

Hanoi (CEECVN.ORG) – Slovakian Prime Minister, H.E. Robert Fico is due to pay an official visit to Vietnam from July 16- 19 at the invitation of Prime Minister, H.E. Nguyen Xuan Phuc. On this occasion, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) together with Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) are co-organizing Vietnam-Slovakia Business Forum, which will take place on July 18th 2016, at VCCI Tower, No.9 Dao Duy Anh, Hanoi, Vietnam. Around 100 participants from two sides will be greeted also by leaders of both countries – the Deputy Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, H.E. Vuong Dinh Hue and the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, H.E. Robert Fico.

Within the framework of this event, The Central and Eastern European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (CEEC Vietnam) and the Department for Foreign Affairs of Provinces (DOFA of Provinces), The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam are signing together a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aiming to strengthen economic cooperation between localities of Vietnam and company members of the CEEC, to create a more favorable investment environment as well as to develop more business opportunities for Central and Eastern European companies already having presence in Vietnam or having interest in future investment in different provinces all over Vietnam. Mr. Marko Moric, CEEC Chairman and Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long, General Director of DOFA Provinces will sign the official documents on behalf of both sides.

The Central and Eastern European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, established since February 2015, is a non-profit organization, connecting businesses from Central and Eastern European (CEE) region and Vietnam, promoting 2-way trade between Vietnam and CEE.
